Business Tax Preparation for Companies and Self-Employed Individuals
We prepare business tax returns based on financial statements provided by our clients, or an engagement to undertake year-end adjustment services
Company tax returns (T2) require a balance sheet and income statement, plus a copy of the previously filed company income tax return and copies of all monthly bank and company credit card statements.
We help our clients to identify additional legitimate business expenses paid personally such as the use of a home office, the use of a personal vehicle, and purchases directly used by the business.
GST Filings
We prepare GST filings on a quarterly or annual basis, as requested by each client. We are able to calculate the GST collected and the GST paid given complete data through you online bookkeeping software or other method.
There are several expenses on which GST is not paid, such as insurance, bank charges, interest and foreign purchases
Sales to a client outside of Canada are exempt from GST.
Corporate Tax Planning
Every situation is different. We offer tax planning for companies to minimize the tax burden for the company and its shareholders.
