We listen to our client’s past and future plans and make recommendations about how to minimize taxes for the company and the family now and in the future.
We offer bookkeeping services to self-employed individuals and companies, including data entry, categorization of expenses, payroll, remittances, and reconciliation of bank and credit card statements.
Each client can customize which bookkeeping services they want to pay for.
We only work online, relieving our clients of the need to provide monthly or annual packages of customer invoices and supplier bills and receipts. We recommend that our clients use HubDoc to facilitate keeping track of the many supplier bills and receipts. With a little hands-on training, the HubDoc software will upload the documents directly to the client’s online bookkeeping software, including the name of the supplier, the category of expenses, and even sales taxes paid.
We encourage our clients to use online accounting software such as QuickBooks Online, Xero, Wave Accounting, but will accept data provided through Excel, Google Sheets or Numbers (converted to Excel).
For new clients, we prefer to charge on an hourly basis until we get a sense of the time involved. After a few months, it will be possible to quote a flat monthly fee, if the client prefers to have a fixed budget

I had a particularly complicated tax year this year, with new investments, moving back to Canada from abroad, contract work and full-time T4 work. I was totally incapable of managing this on my own. Randy’s website offered quick online booking – no phone call required – and clear listings of what he’d charge me to prepare my taxes. It was a breeze to set up an appointment with him! When we had our first call, I was sure that my situation would take multiple sessions, to which Randy replied, with his charming, sweet demeanor “Nah, let’s just dive right in!” To my surprise, he finished my return in about an hour, and we had a wonderful chat along the way.
